My husband and i want to caravan more frequently at weekends but wish to 'stay local' - we live in East Midlands near to Derby Peaks.  I have been watching with interest how people 'collect' places eg NT stamps, the Monroes, Wainrights Waks etc.  I then picked up the CCC caravan sites and CLs in Derby peaks area (it includes CC sites and CLs) and realised just how many interesting locations there are.  I suddenly thought why not 'collect' them all - write the date on each one as we visit - a definite but very light hearted challenge.  Is this a mad idea ?  And, would anyone like to join us - no organisation, just name the site or CL, first come first booked ..............  enjoy a little company, plenty of variety in sites but no organised entertainment ?  Well it is a thought so please email brizhis@aol.com if interested.  I have a little pile of booklets
