I have just returned from 8 days away in my motorhome, when I rolled the vehicle off its levelling blocks, I notice that some sections had melted in the heat and I was only in the UK!  I came back and contacted the manufacturer, who has agreed to look at them, but it is gong to cost me £18 to send them off an a further £8 for the carriage to return them  As the failing is in the product a bit miffed that I have to pay this much in carriage.  Chris

Might it be an idea to send them a photograph of the problem first before going to the expense of carriage? Are they still usable? If they are not I can't see the point of them being returned to you.  BTW you might want to check out Hermes as they have collection points all over the place and I have always found them quite reasonable for carriage costs.

As far as I am aware because its only your opinion they are faulty, then you pay the postage and if indeed they are faulty then you get a replacement plus refund of postage cost.

It's a chance you take because the manufacturer may say "not our fault", in which case they will return the goods but not refund the postage.

I assume you didn't purchase from a seller in which case its them you deal with and not the manufacturer.

How much are new wedges and how old are the damaged ones? It’s all factors to consider under the heading of wear and tear.

As with anything bought it’s the seller who is responsible not the manufacturer, if fairly new get the seller to send back!!!
