Well, many of you will remember that there used to be 4 of us, me, Mrs M, George & Harry. You may also remember how devastated we were to lose George 18 months ago.

Well now be are back up to full complement! Last week we adopted a 7 month old boy through the Irish Setter rescue scheme - "he's going to be a project" we were told! 3 owners already and not many boundaries laid down. We've changed his name to Sparky which seems to suit his character (long story about his previous names - you don't want to know!)

He's been with us for a week of his 4 week trial now and already we wouldn't be without him. He's a typical playful pup, a bit noisy and boisterous at the moment but obviously a quick learner. It's interesting to see how he keeps looking at Harry and, we think, learning the rules and some good manners from him!

Our first trip away has been to the static in Cornwall this week and he's settled better than we could ever have hoped for. First trip in the tourer will be to Penrhos at the start of next month. Fingers crossed that will go as smoothly.

Would put some pics on here if I had a bit more time & patience; think they'll have to go in the story section later on.

Will keep everyone in touch with where we'll be; do come and say hello if you see us (or more likely, the dogs) ?
