Anyone seen the report about the poor dog who was chasing seagulls on Beachy Head and, surprise, surprise, went over the edge ! He was extremely lucky and survived without serious injury but the owners response.. ?

"If we had seen a notice saying to put your dog on a lead, we would have done so because when he takes off he just goes. We were 20 to 30 yards from the edge but there were no signs."

So, they knew where they were, they knew how close to the edge they were, they knew he would 'just go' yet they didn't put him on a lead because there was no sign telling them to !!!
