i was just setting out last week to collect my mower from service when there was a doggy kerfuffle round a tree root.  on investigation Izzy had caught a rat but not before being bitten.  Luckily I was there to see the blood so a quick call to them and we were on our way to them. £42 odd for anti biotics made it quite an expensive rat!  Undecided  She was protected for leptospirosis but of course not for infection to the bite site.  All well now but I hope she will kill before getting bitten next time!  The joys of country living!
