Pet Insurance for Europe

Does anyone here take there dog to Europe for 6 months or more?   I have been looking for travel insurance for my dog to go to Europe for 6 months.  Most of the insurance companies that have pet cover have restictions of 30 days some have 90 days, but what if you want to go longer?  Does anyone know of an insurance sompany that will do this?  What do people do when they go touring in Europe to insure their pets?  Any help please?
