Multi dog sites/CLs

I am trying to book a campsite/CL on the Yorkshire East Coast, for myself and a friend.  Therefore it would mean a total of,  2 caravans, 4 adults and here is the problem, 9 Border Collies.  We like to put up windbreak 'gardens' to keep them confined.  Any suggestions?

Why not phone a CL you fancy and ask them Annep? You got some good replies when you asked a similar question a few years ago, and you sound like a responsible owner. We used a CL last year and our neighbours had six border collies, never heard a peep from them all holiday, and of course they were exercised off site at least twice daily. There are a lot of CLs that are happy to take more than a couple of dogs, so I would just choose and give them a call explaining circumstances. I doubt you would find most Club Sites as relaxing though.

I had just booked a CL only to have them ring back and cancel it due to the number of dogs.  I fully understand and I have no problem with their decision, but it is hard to find one.

Would it be any good if you tried booking an extra pitch (like some tent campers do) between you which would give you more space for you and the dogs and show willing to compromise a bit? I've seen plenty of people with several dogs on CC sites but it might seem a bit crowded on a smaller CL. Hope you find something.

I can give you a CS in North Norfolk who probably would oblige, we have seen show dogs on the CS before in corrals. Dog walking is excellent, and plenty of space as well. EY likely to be very very busy at moment, but hope you find something.

Hi Annep, you could try this one see here this is a CL near Bridlington that is dog friendly and they have well spaced out open plan pitches all on grass, in a 0.75 acre paddock.

Good luck. Smile
