Keep dogs on a short leash

I would like to start by saying we love dogs and until recently had our own dogs that we took on numerous caravan hols. So what's the issue I hear you say? Well it is this we object to dog owners allowing their dogs on extendable leads to roam all over our pitch sniffing and potentially and in some cases doing their business on our pitch. This is unacceptable, keep your dogs on a short leash take it to the dog walking area and let it do its business there. I accept that dogs sometimes do their business on the way to the dog walk but if it's on a short leash it will do it on the road and not on our or other people's pitches. We appreciate not all dog owners behave in this manner but for those that do you are not very thoughtful to your fellow caravanners.
