Introducing Us and Pablo

So, we picked up our first ever caravan on Thursday and have just come back from our first weekend away. We are Tracey and Tabetha and our Spanish Water Dog, Pablo, aged 4.  We only have a little two berth Venus 380 so were a bit worried about how Pablo would cope in such a small place.  It didn't help that we arrived late on Friday and it rained on Saturday so we couldn't get the awning up.  We were a little worried as although he is fearful when outside, when he is behind a window or a fence he gets brave and does take on a guarding role.  Well we went to a CL which was full and Pablo behaved impeccably.  Not one bark was heard for the whole weekend and he has thoroughly enjoyed himself.  We are so chuffed and hope this continues as we so want to take Pablo caravanning with us but would not want to spoil the peace and quiet of others.  Fingers crossed......on a sidenote, Pablo weights about 26kg.  I wondered if anyone used one of the sticks you screw into the ground to tether a dog of this weight.  We would never leave him unattended but would like to not have to sit and hold a leader. I have tried to attach a picture of Pablo but I cannot figure out how to do it.
