Grrr! Vets over charging!

Much to my disgust my wife uses one of those vets that operate out of a national pet store chain.  Every time we visit their charges rise.

Today I had to pick up some urgent medication for one of our dogs.  They charged us £28.50.  I queried this as the price had risen by nearly £8 in 3 months.  I was told that was the price and that there had been no price increases for several years prior as if trying to justify the huge increase, however the vet has only been operating there for about 3 years?

The same medication over the Internet cost us under £12 and that supplier must be making a profit also!  Work that out!
