down to 2 pets

I have a 3 year old border collie, my daughter has a hamster & up until last week we had tropical fish, i got in from work & noticed the fireside rug was wet i then noticed the fish tank was completely empty, we think we had a power surge (power companies contractor is coming on Monday to look at damage caused over 6 houses) the heater in the tank was black with the bottom blown off this cracked the tank causing the leak,we had alot of documents in the cupboard under the tank so the night after the tank broke we went through them, i was burning old wage slips, insurance documents in the fire & 30 minutes later had to call the fire brigade out for a chimney fire,

hopefully this week will go better
