Hi All, I have just received a letter from Tesco dog insurance which I have been contributing too for eight years, I thought the premium of £17.99 a month was a bit expensive but the premium has jumped up tp £24.00 because she is over eight years old which I think is nothing short of extortion considering that there is an excess of £250 plus 10% of the remaining sum of the bill.
I know vet bills are ridiculous owing to the attachment most owners have for their pets but am I being stupid having cancelled the policy? My intention is to put the cost of the premium into a separate bank account and hope I never need to use it. What do you think?
