Dog cruelty.

In my opinion, not taking time with and not caring about your dog's training amounts to cruelty.

Returning from our walk today through the housing estate, on three separate occasions we met different ladies with lovely little Bichon Frise dogs coming in the opposite direction. Each had their dogs on extended leads.

On each ocasion I put my dog on Sit Stay until they passed.  After passing us, all of the dogs kept looking back and jumped and pulled all over the place.

The owners all, obviously were embarassed at their dogs' behavior and proceeded to drag them along the pavement behind them, (eyes front) unaware that their poor little paws were being rubbed on the tarmac.

I felt so sorry for those dogs. Bichon Frise dogs are intelligent and very easily trained. --- Why do some owners have to be so cruel.

I walked away with the impression that those little dogs had much more intelligence than their callous owners.
