Wink . Well ,thats what the landlord of the " Black Horse" provides for your pet !!  !! When you're parked up on the C.C site over the road 'Black Horse Farm'.Not only is there an extensive culunary menu for customers to select from ,BUT a 'Doggy Menu' too.So your 'pooch can partake of a gourmet dinner too.!!Laughing.

Uh Oh that sounds like another excuse for weight gain in pooches!  I have dogs that get upset tummies very easily so I won't be falling for that one - thank you!  (washing stuff today that was the result of giving one dog a chew the other day Undecided)

One of our local pubs does chicken and gravy for dogs.  They ask for a donation to their present charity.  We tend not to go there very often.  A nice gesture and OK once in a while.  If we went there too often, I'm sure Lizzie would put on the pounds! Laughing

We have come across a lot of pubs that have biscuit type treats as a welcome! We wouldn't go down the "dogs dinner" route, have to be careful what we feed ours, but a nice touch for those who like it!

well at least they're welcoming pooches into the place, which is more than a lot of other places do! good on 'em! we're booked at the site in may for night before we head to the tunnel so may well give it a go, though we weren't too impressed with the food last time we went there, hopefully its improved.

just a quick update, we stayed at black horse site a couple of weeks ago enroute to the tunnel. i asked the lady on duty in reception at the sitea bout the pub, and her words were 'well we don't use it and wouldn't recommend it' very diplomatic i thought, hehehe. she did point us in the direction of a fish and chip shop in the village a mile or so away - well worth the drive out, were fab and hoooooge portions!
