Alone and Soulless!

Packed my OH and our two dogs off to Cornwall this morning, after giving the canine pair a good walk. Well, cannot get over how big and empty and soulless the house seems without the three loves in my life. Since we were married we have never ever been without a dog, and it is a very rare occasion where I have found myself at home without canine companionship for more than a couple of hours. Empty baskets, toys all tidied away, no  nudging at mealtime, no gentle snores coming from anywhere! 

Can't imagine life without a dog of some sort, not for others perhaps but we love them to bits!
