Just heard that there has recently been a confirmed case near to Warwick, so those in the Midlands, do keep a careful watch on your dogs.

There now seems to be numerous areas that have reported cases  around the country ,even on Wimbledon common (not blamed on the Wombles)  in london , so you are right it is down to all dog owners to be on their guard, there are several threads on tinternet that give advise and show latest and previose hotspots

The general thought is to keep dogs away from wooded or muddy aras and to wash the dogs legs and paws after a walk.
