Hi all, I am quite new to the Club, and this is my very first post. I decided to post here after reading the hobbies pages for a good few hours.

So, a little about my hobby in that case! Well, as the title suggests, I build and sail scale radio controlled model warships. these are mainly to either 1/96th or 1/72nd scale. The ships I build are of the types I served on during my time under the grey funnel. Those are Type 42 destroyers and the Invincible class carrier, HMS Illustrious.

I wondered if I have any fellow builders on here, and weather or not you use caravan club sites to get to events and shows?

We recently visited the National Warship weekend in Glasgow, staying at Strathclyde Country Park.

If I can figure out a way to post photo's in the meantime, I shall do so if anybody is interested?

 All the best folks!
