Smile Yesterday I went to the Museum of Somerset in Taunton to see this

I really had a good time there as it's been refurbished by the Lottery Fund and has some fascinating things on display from Jurassic times to a recent dig at Hinckley Point. It's free and has a good cafe too (couldn't give that a miss so had some lunch.) We're quite lucky because we have some good museums in our county, especially in Bath and there's an interesting Shoe Museum at Clarks Factory Outlet in Street. There are some lovely small museums around, I like the Stone Mason's museum near the Haycraft site in Dorset. I've got quite a few favourites scattered all over the UK. Any others worth visiting?
