Really good day's birding at Titchwell today. Heard chiffchaff, but not seen. Good views of Med gulls, brambling, avocets, harriers etc.
Yesterday, at Cley, had fantastic views of a spoonbill posing right in front of the hide. Followed of course, by cakes in the reserve centre café.
We're here until next Wednesday, staying at Fakenham racecourse site.

I had a discussion on this with GL a few pages ago. Within Photoshop CC there is an option under the Image tag to assist with shadow and highlight. Just adds a bit of detail in shadow areas and reduces the highlights. Sometimes slight adjustment to Levels which is a similar effect. Also I apply a very small level under unsharpmask. which I apply to all my pics as a shortcut. All done in a couple of clicks. I do not have enough knowledge to use more than the very basic tools in photoshop.
Fortunately, the light lifted for about 10 minutes as the Owl made a sweep of it's favoured field and I was in a much better position yesterday to get closer images. The Brambles were a bit sharp, but worth the pain.
The sun is very low for these pics and behind a light cloud but heavy cloud above.
I am up for Singapore if you are paying for the tickets, nice of you to offer

Thanks, Oneputt. Quite fancied going for the owl today, but was outvoted. How you can get outvoted when there's just 2 of you I'm not sure, but I was!
Anyway, we went to Snettisham this morning, wild and windy, just how it should be. Afternoon, we went on to Roydon common / Grimston warren reserve. Great views of woodlarks, this is the only place I've ever seen them. Also a barn owl flying over late afternoon.
Now back at the 'van planning tomorrow's birding!
