The small flock we have locally seem to have a daily pattern.
Perch in a high tree for about 20 mins then come down to feed for about 2mins then repeat process.
Ocassionally they disapear for about 60-90 mins then return and start feeding again.
This pattern has been followed each day for over two weeks.
hope they return.

Waxwings are back in the UK, still up in Scotland, haven't seen any reports of them down here yet. This time last year they were already in our area so fingers crossed.
