I was up half awake today, OH had gone out to help clear the banks of our local river and I was listening to the radio with my early cup of tea. I don't know if any of you listen to this on Radio 4 but today was International Dawn Chorus Day and there was a beautiful broadcast from the heather moorland in Allendale, Northumberland.
