Traffic Islands and Verges

Our council is currently working hard at scarifying traffic islands and lots of grass verges at the moment, which later in the year look absolutely gorgeous covered in wild flowers that last for months. Watching what was going on reminded me of some of the beautiful traffic islands we have seen planted up on our travels all over UK. Some are really impressive, such as the one approaching Falmouth on Dracaena Way near the Park and Float, and the one close to Asda complete with huge anchor and cannons. Doncaster has some impressive Topiary displays on roundabouts. Any one recall seeing anything different while out and about?
