Out early with the dog ,an angry sky but then after a while heard " trumpeting " and a skine of geese flew over in perfect formation  ,amazing ,then we came across a open space of grass and there must have been about 20 starling all in a straight line with perfect spacing going across the field looking for that early worm

what struck me was the perfect distance between each bird giving them all room ,you couldn't have measure them out better

so why do we have to live on top of each other??
