Music to my ears.

Three years ago I saw the last songthrush in our garden, the one a feral moggie spooked causing it to fly into our window and break it's neck.

This year since early March a thrush has sung with the dawn chorus and at twilight in a tree at the bottom of the garden.

Last night I was sat in the conservatory when I heard this knocking. It was the thrush giving a snail a headache banging it on stones on my waterfall. Within ten minutes he was back hammering away at another snail. I thought I heard a high pitched tweeting as well but I couldn't be sure because Her Ladyship was rabbiting on the phone. Just hoping he isn't the thief stealing my tadpoles Surprised
