Obviously Britain is never going to be a huge medal contender, but good luck to those who have dedicated their lives and energies in trying to do so.

So we end up with 5 medals, which is a record for GB, apparently at a cost of £5.6 million each (Latest reports say £28m spent on Winter Olympics, if it is more then I stand to be corrected))

Well done to all our athletes.

The argument of funding will no doubt linger on for quite some time

I understand the funding was £32 million (incl some lottery),
