Tour de France in England

Prior to the start of the Tour, the team presentations are to take place at a stadium in Leeds.

This event has traditionally been free and open to the public....as has the Tour generally. Part of its tradition is that this is the world's biggest sporting event and it is free to the public.

This year, anyone stupid enough to patronise the presentation will have to pay between £45 and £80 for the priveledge.

The people hosting the Tour in England are a disgrace. They have no idea what the Tour is about or any idea of the traditions of the event. They have clearly paid far too much to host the event and, as usual, are now trying to rip off the public.

I urge people not to go to this event....
