SPOTY 2016

Not sure of the top three but if was a betting man my money would go on Andy Murray to win.

I put Murray down for second initially, so you make a good call. It's really tight this year and could easily go to a number of athletes.

I went with Brownlee as his gesture to help his brother over the line at the Tri WC's went viral and 'trended' like no other sportsperson has done before in a long time. I was torn between Murray and Farah for second, either way they are both deserving of recognition. It's been a great year for the Scot but Farah falling and then going on to win in Rio, captured a lot of hearts with his never give up attitude.

Jeez it's tough to call this year 

In no particular order - but what I would like - 

1. Alistair Brownlee

2. Max Whitlock.

3. Andy Murray

Assuming that, as in the past it's an award for achievement rather than personality, I'd go with

1. Andy Murray

2. Mo Farah

3. Laura Kenney

I'd like to see Mo win this time but he's achieved great things for years now but never seemed to capture the public's affection the way Andy has.

In my opinion it should be:

1. Jason Kenny 

2. Alistair Brownlee

3. Max Whitlock

However I believe Murray/Farah will probably end up being in the top 3.
