F1 great Michael Schumacher's former boss at Ferrari has said the latest news about the German's health "is not good" - but has refused to elaborate. Certainly doesn't sound as if he's on the road to recovery. Poor guy.Sad

I read a little while ago that the family have and are maintaining a very strict code of secrecy about Michael's condition and/or recovery or lack of it.  Sad end to a brilliant career.

At  the  risk  of  bringing  Half  the  Club  down  on  my  head,  I  always  wonder  if  ,  just  because  we  can  prolong  a  mans  life  like  this,  we  should  do  it.

I  remember  my  sister,  losing  the  battle  against  cancer,  saying  that  we  would  go  to  prison  if  we  treated  a  dog  that  way.

I think that we should allow, even encourage, anyone who wishes to ‘pass away’. A difficulty arises if the person concerned is unable to give consent, though.

The world is overcrowded and it seems daft for society to invest heavily in keeping anyone who does not wish to stay or who is unlikely to provide a positive return.

As ABM infers, this is a sensitive subject so please be careful what you post in this thread so as not to cause offence or distress to others.

Many Thanks.

I do wonder if this latest news item is a preparation for further bad news I.e. Michael losing the fight for life

T'was my thought too when I read the article. Hope that it's not though.
