How's your footy team doing?

I'm starting this thread again because it seems to have been a casualty of the change over to the new site. The Terriers scecured another away win last night at Burton. Two wins in a row now after a barren spell. It'll all go pear shaped on Friday when we go to Norwich because the game is to be televised , we haven't won on the telly for ages.

I thought about going to the away match there last Saturday Pliers but the lunchtime kickoff made it impractical, the luxury coach set off from the JSS at the ungodly hour of 0545 😴

Don't blame you either! But a Town fan pal of mine, who went to the match, tells me that Town will be drawn away at Spurs in the FA cup next season 🤔

He isn't known for his physic powers, so don't rely on it.....

Anyway, last night, what a game!

Good luck to Spurs and the 'Dippers in the next round. Could well be an all British final in Madrid, anything could happen.

Not quite mathematically safe yet, but Rovers' turn around under new management has been good to see in the second half of the season. Hoping that Accrington Stanley (who are they? wink) can also stop their recent plummet and survive.  One more win against the mighty Rochdale tomorrow should do it for Rovers and then, as I mentioned to Mrs M just yesterday, it's June 20th and next season's fixture list to look forward to!  surprised

I hope so too Moulesy!

It's that time of the season again where we say goodbye to some and hello to others.

Having endured years of 'to-ing and fro-ing' I would just like to congratulate those that 'have' and commiserate with those that 'haven't'

I must say that I have found the Premiership this year to be very interesting, with lots of good footy on display, thrills and spills galore and hope that the introduction of technology next season will not spoil it,

Can’t believe it fourth draw in four games all against teams at the lower end of the table. Should have had the league wrapped up by now

Leed's defeat tonight means that you are virtually assured of promotion. A draw in either of the last two game would seal it.

Well Rovers have survived another undistinguished season - here's to 2019/20! smile And well done to Accrington Stanley (who are they?) see you again next year.

Congratulations to Norwich and (fingers crossed, Sheffield United) both back where they deserve to be. smile

Congrats to Norwich from me too.

Excellent 5-1 win to keep Stanley in League One. (i think they and B. Rovers could be major forces next season!)

No doubt Brian will be happy with his teams seven goal thriller at Gresty road

Fully expect Pliers to be celebrating very soon with 3 or 4 trophies???

Yes, thinking about Brian and the Alex, didn't they score 6 or 7 on the opening day of the season too? It's just the 40 odd games between times that have been a problem! laughing
