How's your footy team doing?

I'm starting this thread again because it seems to have been a casualty of the change over to the new site. The Terriers scecured another away win last night at Burton. Two wins in a row now after a barren spell. It'll all go pear shaped on Friday when we go to Norwich because the game is to be televised , we haven't won on the telly for ages.

I hope I get better odds than a certain Mr Farage got this week   money-mouth

( Aye,  and better options too  innocent )

Not too bad for you both, Crewe away to Cheltenham.....should best them ABM?....and Bristol Rovers at home to Darlington, just the sort of match you want M?

Too busy sulking , Nellie  frown, don't think I'll get a nice cheap pitch on the Cheltenham site, sniffle sob.

Think Moulesy might have a few more worries against Big D tho'  !!

Town's proclivity for scoring team goals has caught the attention of the Times reporter who writes a column in the footie supplement "The Game"

Supporters on the forum DATM (an acronym for Down at the MAC) itself a reference to the former name of the stadium, now seem to believe that we're at our most dangerous when the keeper has the ball ready to play out from the back.

I haven't heard anyone mention it's like watching Barcelona but it's surely only a matter of time.😂

This time last year Rovers were up in the play off positions. Then, after a stunning win at Ipswich Graham Coughlan decided to leave and further his career at a club a league and a half below us (he since been sacked at Mansfield). The Rovers board said they would look for a new manager with experience in the lower leagues - and promptly appointed a guy with no managerial experience at all. They won 2 games put of 17 before the season was halted. Then he got rid of all our most experienced players and bought in a bunch of youngsters he'd worked with as a coach. Now we are left with a squad with an average age of 23 to battle through the rest of the season. I'd have thought it was blindingly obvious that this "project" was never going to work at league 1 level. yell

Who comes next? Who would want the job? Michael Flynn was mentioned last year but would he want to leave Newport who are doing so well and take us on? For me, though I hate to say it, Lee Johnson (formerly with that club whose name I will not mention wink) would be a good choice with loads of experience.

Whatever happens the rest of the season is looking ferry grim for the Gas. frown
