Glasgow / European Athletics

Just  Spent  a  very  tiring  evening  watching  the  European  Athletics  Championships  being  held  in  Glasgow.

Right  now  I'd  dearly  like  to  go  to  sleep,  but  the  British  performances  were  rather  good  and,  reliving  them's  keeping  me  awake  .  But  I  do  have  to  say  the  performances  of  the  Lady ( Women ? ) pentathletes  as  well  as    those  in  the  3000  metres  were  utterly  staggering  !!  Perhaps  KJT  &  Lara  Muir  were  living  up  to our,  rather  high,  expectations  but  the  youngsters  in  those  competitions  showed  that  there  is  still  life  in  this  country  yet.  Not  all  our  coming  generations  deserve  the  title  "Snowflakes"
