Well, there has been absolutely sod all coverage of this, the second biggest cycle race in the world - one of the greatest sporting events in the world - on TV or radio. Probably because Bradley Wiggins, Chris Froom and Mark Cavendish (the only cyclists that the BBC have ever heard of) are not in it.

So, for those who are just dying to know - Cadel Evans has lost his lead to Rigoberto Uran and is currently in second place by 1min 03 seconds. Pretty good for a 37 year old.  There is still a time trial to come and Cadel is pretty good at that, so he may get it back.

15 stages out of 21 done, today was a rest day, back into the mountains tommorow.

The Giro is renowned as a Tour for the mountain men and Rigoberto is a Columbian, so this is his natural environment.

More excitement to come!
