Euro footballing competition

I understand that there is some sort of competition for footballists coming up soon.

I drew the team from Germany in our sweep at CAB. Do I have any chance of winning?

As I understand it, some people have to kick a ball into a net, or something, and the one who does it the most times wins the game.

Seems a bit pointless to me, but I thought I'd give it a go. Exciting these office draws, aren't they? Certainly more interesting than kicking a ball about.

So, because the fans don't throw chairs at each other, they are a credit to their country?

Not being Welsh Ian, you wouldn't understand our Welsh Pride.

Ruby - To try to learn from all the knowledgeable folks on here, what could possibly be interesting about two groups of blokes hoofing a ball around a field. Smile

(I haven't found out a reason yet, though! Undecided)

Ian - I'd never expect you to get so upset over such a light hearted remark! Wink. Use left and right arrows to navigate.

Still, back to the topic, although we've failed to fire your enthusiasm for the current competition, the good news is that season 2016/17 is just 4 weeks away now! have a good day. Happy. Use left and right arrows to navigate.
