A long overdue honour for one of the country's greatest cricketers - from the era when cricketers were sportsmen first and "celebrities" second.

Controversial, it's bound to be, but for me, "Congratulations Sir Geoffrey Boycott" - one of Theresa May's better decisions!

I agree Rocky but I don't think it's restricted to Yorkshire. Sean Connery springs immediately to mind.
