I'm here, Brue,  but have been very busy recently so less time to post but that could change tomorrow when I get three days off for Christmas!

Good to see our back posting Malcolm.  I've been lurking as new CT hates my Kindle Fire and eats my words 🙄. Using my phone at present but not as comfortable.

Now I'm very easy going but for some reason on CT myself,  that's Bakers2 and brue - are being confused with each other. I'm quite amused and as I commented on an earlier post about this to ABM I'm hoping brue isn't offended. 😂😂😂

Guess now you've treated yourself to a new car and insurance you won't be considering working less hours in the new year. Happy Christmas and enjoy the few days off over Christmas.

Thanks Bakers2. Sorry to have got you mixed up with Brue! We're having a three week break after Christmas so not due back at work until 18th January. This will be the longest time off since we first started delivery work! I hope all is going well for you in the last few days run up to Christmas!

Glad you had a good time there was someone asking on here about Cuba just after you went 😃. Dramatic temperature relaxation change. Why didn't you stay for Christmas?  ðŸ˜‚😂.

Enjoy the new CT 😉

I agree. I think 10 hours is a too long haul flight. It's not comfortable to have to sit that long even with reclining seats, meals, refreshments and on board entertainment. You can only watch so many movies or listen to so much music before the need to get up and stretch your legs.

B2 I too am amused at the name mix up, I'm used to it by now! wink

Sorry about that, Brue. I'll try to get it right next time!

After a quiet afternoon, it's gone manic this evening with one delivery after another. However, the new car with the power steering, automatic shift plus small turning circle, makes the job a lot easier.

We're at kfc Goring at the moment collecting an order for delivery on the new build estate behind Tesco Extra in Durrington.

We're certainly starting to feel the effects of storm Barbara with the persistent wind and rain.

For all of you involved in the shopping madness at the moment, I have some good news!

The shops will, in fact, re-open after Christmas! Probably even on Boxing Day!!

Phew! Panic over, eh?

We fed the ducks as usual today. Three of them that were born here in the Summer and are now adults came wandering over to the patio to see us (and for extra food!)

Cannot resist them, looking up at us and quacking. They will still happily take food from my hand. Lovely creatures smile
