Arrived home this morning after a lovely break at Moreton in Marsh for the Christmas Market and lights switch on. It was a quick turnaround as I was at work this afternoon.

Got to see the new Glamping Pods that they have introduced at Moreton, there are ten of them,  next to the dog field and playground.  They were much smaller than I had imagined and only one was occupied.

DSB sorry to here you have a poorly dog, hope she gets better soon.

Cariadon glad you have had a good caravanning year, we have also enjoyed some lovely holidays this year, and  one more trip to go next month, smile

No plumbing tasks required Husky but could do with a wizard on Samsung tablets. Don't know what happened but I appear to have lost all the data held in my calendar before November 2017. I record all the sites we stay on, how we like them etc. it was ok the other day when I checked on something but today everything gone yell OH trying to fix it but no joy so far. Will ring Samsung help tomorrow.

Rain and grey again today, certainly no problem now with the reservoirs and rivers now.

We have a poorly cat, not that its our cat, its next doors but they don't give a .... told them this morning she wasn't well and gave her back to them. Not long after she was back at our house where she's been ever since. A little food ate but she's just sleeping lying on the settee, something she never does. Our neighbour on the other side said she had been in with her all  weekend just sleeping. Not sure what to do with her tonight, we normally put her out so she can go home but they will not have her in the house (she has the shed) its pretty cold outside for a poorly cat.frown

Please keep her indoors Tammygirl.  Poor little thing.  I don't think cats should ever be outside at night. I am not impressed with your neighbours.  Some people should not allowed to have animals.

I'm not impressed either millie but what can you do. I'll see how she is tomorrow, have not fear she won't be going out tonight its freezing out there. She is not right that's for sure but what it is I don't know.

We have had a busy and enjoyable weekend. On Saturday we had a family visit to The Winter Lights at Anglesey Abbey which was a lovely evening as always. It was a great start to Christmas. Yesterday we went to the Memorial Service of a much loved Canon of Peterborough Cathedral and later an inspiring tutor at Peterborough Adult College after he retired.  He died suddenly in the summer hill climbing in Scotland aged 85.  I was asked to give one of the readings.  I was totally out of my comfort zone as it is not something I would normally do, also it was a very long reading surprised. Luckily it went OK laughing

So sorry to hear that Lizzie is not well DSB. I do hope she is improving.  It is always upsetting when they are not well as they cannot tell us how they feel. Best wishes.

You sound as though you had a lovely weekend Helen.  So glad you enjoyed the Christmas market. I am hoping to persuade OH to accompany me to the Christmas craft market at the Cathedral this weekend. We saw the camping pods at Houghton Mill this summer and they are also very small.

It has rained on and off all day here today and cold with it.  High winds and more rain to come by 'Wednesday frown

Good for you Tammygirl. My parents took in their neighbours little cat years ago for similar reasons and then took full responsibility for her in the end.  We then 'inherited' her when my parents moved into sheltered housing. The poor little cat lived a very nomadic life.
