A busy day getting four cows ready for a Dairy Shorthorn sale tomorrow. They're beautified and ready to go - Beeston Castle Auction if you're in the area. So the alarm is set for 04:00!
Meanwhile, we're dashing into town to see Peggy Seeger. I love her shows, we always come away feeling better than when we went in.

Hope you enjoy your night out Goldie.
We had the offer of free theatre tickets today for our local literary festival, had a choice, so have plumped for Sam Willis and James Daybell and "Histories of the Unexpected"...no idea what to "expect" but will give it a go.

Lovely day here to today.
More gardening this morning, we did get into the back corner. OH got the leaf buster out and cleared them away for me to get in and weed. Front garden now looking respectable again. I still ache all over but it has to be done as this weather is not going to last for much longer, then it will be to cold to do anything outdoors. I don't mind the cold but its not easy to garden when the ground is frozen solid.
Tomorrow we will have to go into town, its Mum's 92nd birthday on Friday, I need to find a present for her, not an easy task. Shops are full of Christmas stuff, haven't given it a thought until now.
We were going to the cinema tonight but changed our mind as both feeling to tired, film still on next week so will go then. We have 2 for 1 on Tues/Wed for cinema and meals, cant tell OH is a Scot can you

After a good day yesterday meeting friends old and new, we left Cornwall and moved on to Devon and am now set up at the CC's Stover Site. Another beautiful shorts, t-shirt and sandals day, ideal for a wander round the country park after lunch.
Contrary to all the speculation about M/H's taking over club sites, here there are only 5 M/Hs on site compared to 35 or so caravans, and a couple of those appear to be on seasonal pitches.
Hope all that are going to shows thoroughly enjoy themselves, and I hope that you get good prices for your cows tomorrow Goldie.

Last night in the van, the time has absolutely flown by. The weather has been pretty much perfect, the wildlife visible, the beer on tap, what more could I ask for. You really can’t beat the U.K. when it’s like this, blue sky and multi coloured leaves.

Beautiful day here today. Every leaf in the area seems to have been blown into our front garden and side drive in the wind yesterday so have been clearing those up as well as sorting out our winter woollies for our trip to N. Ireland at the weekend. We went to see a live screening of Funny Girl at our local theatre this evening. What a fabulous show. Sheridan Smith is amazing. I love live screenings. So good to have the opportunity to see top shows locally. I hope everyone else enjoyed their evenings out.
