What are you all up to

Went over to see my son's new puppy today.

It's a fine morning here, at the moment. It's still almost pitch black and I've just seen our two grandsons walk through the yard and down the lane to get the school bus into town. Laden down with back packs as big as themselves.

Still not very light here, only a few more days til the turn around and then lengthening days ahead. 

The puppy picture looks sweet....looks very peaceful asleep, probably a whirlwind when awake? 

End of busy week here, going out tonight to a Christmas concert at our local theatre.

Waiting for OH to come back from showers so we can eat. Probably go out about 10 am to Formby Point to watch the red squirrels armed with a bag of peanuts in shells and then stop off for a coffee.

 , A grey & overcast day to start with ,here in East Kent.Off to the boatyard shortly,more 'lifting' to be done etc.Looking forward to ' the break' next week !!

May have to refurnish the office after all the carpet chewing that this site has engendered. Are you all enjoying playing "Spot the glitch'?

It was so dark and grey here yesterday that when I went to collect our grandson from his after school club at 4.00pm we were all peering through the gloom in the playground to see which child we wanted to collect.  It doesn't look as though it is going to be much better today.  It is very misty here at the moment and I can hardly see across the road. Roll on the 21st when the days start getting a bit longer.

He is an addition. They already have a three year old dog of the same breed so at the moment they are exploring who rules what!!! He is seriously cute and falls over quite a lot in his enthusiasm to compete
