If any one goes to Sutton on sea cc site when the "fisher folk"from Hull & Grimsby hold their tennis tournement,   it is very unusual for any number plates to match the towing vehicles

Its not only the Welsh, but I notice, quite often, that foreign lorries don't have matching number plates, and they come through customs

They don't have to, cabs and trailer are registered separately in Europe.
