Our daughter contracted Shingles a couple of weeks ago while in Poland. On returning home she managed to get to see her doctor that same evening. Since then she has suffered from some eye problems. She attended her optician today at noon, and following a thorough examination was informed that she had some lession to one eye and would need to go to the hospital. She received a phone call mid afternoon and by 7:30 this evening had been seen by a specialist at her local general hospital. Treatment ongoing.... Great service...well done Blackburn NHS & Specsavers.
