Lovely Photos Happy

They kept me in a job for 40 years, they are my best mates, I even chose to have a Bovine Aortic Replacement Valve rather than a Pig's

Nice pics 'Goldie', I may be alone in this but have always fancied helping out on a farm especially harvesting, lambing etc, and now in retirement even more so. My limited services would be free but its not an opportunity to do so Sad

It's not as if I can go knocking on a farmers door asking if he wants a hand.

While we sometimes struggle to get away etc, leaving just my son plus part time worker (or vice versa), untrained casual help    isn't really an option. Modern dairy farming isn't just about milking (and we wouldn't let anyone else milk our cows!). Feed rations and cow management are all part of it.

But sometimes we need an extra hand to take the cows down the road to a different field in summer.!
