Don't know where this should go..

If your vehicle breaks down during the present Covid19 situation how are you transported anywhere safely. Do you still share a cab with a recovery vehicle, or is there a different procedure? smile

From Green Flag

Changes to our service when you break down
To maintain safe social distancing and keep everyone safe, if we can’t fix your vehicle at the roadside, we’ll no longer allow customers to sit with our technicians. You’ll have to remain in your vehicle as it’s being towed.

To make sure you get wherever you need to go, we’ll take you to a safe location where you can access public transport or have someone you know pick you up. Depending on your cover level, we’ll cover any public transport costs, and once you’re safe, we’ll take your vehicle to a different location if required.

I remember when my BILs doddery broken down campervan was loaded onto a trailer in France with the family inside. One of my nephews woke up and said "Are we on the boat now?" laughing

My example was from years ago and I'm interested to know what would happen in the present circumstances.

I watched our MH being put onto the back of a recovery vehicle some years ago. Bearing in mind you have two sets of suspension operating, it was astonishing just how much things bounced around even at low speeds. No way on this Earth would I want either myself or the dogs in there. When we got back, every cushion, cupboard, storage locker had been flung around.
