Use of our language?

This morning I was flicking through a club magazine that I happened to have kicking around the van when I spotted an advert. It was for a "Super Silent" inverter generator. Super Silent I thought......is that quieter than silent? So now we have quiet, very quiet, very very quiet, almost silent, silent, and super silent!! Whatever happened to very silent? Oh dear! Another abuse of the English Language I think.
