Just returned from a very pleasent weekend away in our motorhome. The site operated allocated pitches, all fine.

We were just about on get to our pitch when the chap opposite pulled out in front of us. He then proceeded to hook up his caravan and carry out all the usual checks. At no time did he seem to be aware of us.

After we had set up the new residents of said pitch opposite arrived in their car/caravan. He proceeded to back the caravan into the pitch. The car blocking most of the road. There they left it and went off for a lengthy walk around the site. They returned 15minutes later and transferred to another pitch.

Is it me? or is there a strange force around this pitch

Just arrived back from Hillhead, on the day we arrived the caravan in front of us stopped on the one way system, between two hedges, just where no one else could get passed. They then had a discussion with friends in the caravan in front of them. All the while we, and everyone else, waited while they chose a pitch. We waited so long that someone who was leaving late came over and said they were going and would we like their pitch. Quite a nice pitch actually, one that we might have otherwise missed, so they did us a favour. It wasnt until afterwards that I came to think they were actually blocking the road on purpose to stop anyone else getting pitches further into the site until they had picked theirs.
