This isn't intended too seriously, it's not a rant etc etc....

As caravanners we're all very good about carefully attaching our towing mirrors and making sure we can see down the sides of the 'van.

Has anyone ever seen a 4x4 or pickup towing a commercial trailer, or boat trailer, with extension mirrors? Big flat bed trailer with a tilt, or a stack of straw bales?

I'll be keeping an eye out, but I'm not sure I've ever seen extension mirrors with anything but a caravan.....

I read this before heading out at lunchtime. One of the first vehicles I met was a school of motoring vehicle with a trailer attached. I was rather busy watching my traffic queue and couldn't tell you the sort of vehicle but no towing mirrors!

Some vehicles don't need towing mirrors.  Depends how wide the trailer is, if the trailer is slimmer then the vehicle probably doesn't need to use them.  I suppose its a specific size that means the towing vehicle needs towing mirrorsundecided
