Regardless of the rights and wrongs and legality or otherwise of towing without mirrors, if you're the idiot driving a BMW with partial registration SE15 towing a large Swift caravan who pulled out in front of me without signalling in pouring rain on the A30 this afternoon,  causing me to brake sharply to avoid what would have been a very damaging collision, might I suggest you invest in a pair? yell

It takes all sorts, M. There have been a handful of accidents on the A30 and A38 which have been reported on the local TV news over the last week. I think our roads catch the holiday makers out - even the major roads.

Thanks for your understanding DD. smile

Why do you think the post is inappropriate on this forum though. The van was proudly displaying a club sticker so the driver might just read this and heed my suggestion!

It is nothing more than an angry rant.  I hope that getting it off your chest has made you feel better.

Are angry rants not allowed on CT, then? I'd have thought otherwise actually, given certain threads running at the moment! wink

Maybe an angry rant is only OK if on a particular subject. Yes, I was angry but, just maybe if the idiot concerned reads this and recognises himself he might have a bit more thought in future. frown
