Bit of a no no day here yesterday, strolled out to Lidl for a few supplies. Turned out I'd made a pointΔΊess decision first thing as I decided not to strip the bed as wasn't sure about weather. Pointless in the end as I ended up stripping it and mopping up the carpet after knocking over a full pint of water. I always take one up, it stays in same place every night, but somehow I caught it as I turned back the duvet. Luckily the bed got some but only wet the sheet and dampened the undersheet. Panicked as feared it would hit the plugs for clock and lights. Phew it missed πŸ˜ƒ. So a complete bed change before I could get ready for bed. I did put the thicker duvet inside the clean cover which pleased hubby, so not entirely pointless πŸ˜‡. Didn't overheat myself which was a pleasant surprise πŸ˜‚. Bedding on the line, summer weight duvet in the washing machine so pointless turned into useful in the end. It's also dry here with a breeze, so should all end well πŸ˜‰

Safe journey's to all those travelling today, hopefully the wind won't be too strong. Little breeze here in Essex at present.

Brue I don't know that music got to Google πŸ˜‰.

Always learn something good on this thread πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜†

Whilst following two young ladies the other day hubby remarked fancy choosing shoes with red soles.

Pointless having trademarks and litigation to protect them πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

Last night at the band concert we heard s soloist playing "Gabriel s Oboe", such a beautiful piece of music. Very calming.

Thankyou Millie, it was and I can replay it in my head for calming effects! smile Glad Bakers2 enjoyed it after  finding it on YouTube.

We had a busy day yesterday, very autumnal today with leaves blowing around.

Just remembered I didn't wipe out the van fridge last week after our trip away!  surprised A job beckons.

Very autumnal day here as well.  Bright and breezy so 3 lots of washing blowing nicely on the line.

I'm having a autumnal thorough clean of the house before the winter. Pointless really as within a very short time you won't be able to see it πŸ˜‰.

Lovely drying dry so doing three loads of washing wasn't pointless.

I did that last week Bakers2.  It wasn't entirely pointless as I felt very satisfied that I had done it.

I don't think I could do that . Too many rooms. Too much stuff. I tend to wait until we have visitors then do as little as I can get away with!

My mother would be horrified.

Spring Cleaning, and then Back End Cleaning, meant emptying and cleaning all the cupboards, washing curtains as well as all the other stuff.

Anyway - as soon as I've got rid of the the straw (and worse) that gets in, and dusted up the dust from the solid fuel Aga (coke and ashes = heavy dust), it's time to do something more interesting, and wait a few hours for it to creep back.

When Countryfile filmed us, I did make a massive effort and three downstairs rooms were spotless. Other doors were kept firmly shut.
