Oh go on, cheer me up! laughing I just think the motorways are running at such high capacity the slightest thing stops everything. We have several local roads closed for improvements which makes it worse. Second attempt on Monday using another route! Fingers crossed.  wink

Sympathies Brue. We have only used one tiny stretch of M5 this year, twixt end of M42 and turn off for Bromyard Downs near Worcester. No problems thankfully. A strange year for us, normally at least two or three runs up and down, sometimes as many as five or six in "good" years!laughing

In Norfolk we don't have any motorways but still seem to suffer delays etc..surprised

Just off to Yarmouth by bus, always like a free bus trip, to look at armchairs as mine is a bit like me - passed itwink

I went out a lovely cycle this morning 15 miles on coastal roads pointless but good. SWMBO didnt watch X Factor last night so that solved one problem . Hope everyone else is having a nice day. Weather here is nice so think we are going to go a drive along the coast and find somewhere for a fish tea

Beautiful day , warm and sunny, been pottering in the garden.

A friend has been trying to persuade me to go to "Rock Choir" with her, totally pointless as I can't sing a note!! laughing

Lovely day here, we went to Yarmouth by bus, purchased my chair then wandered down to the beach.  Gratified to see plenty of people about and cafes etc were doing good business.

Beautiful day here as well, sunny and warm.  They switched the big gas heaters on in the Cathedral this week - totally pointless as we were all too warm this morning!!  Going to do a bit of gardening for the rest of the afternoon.

Had a smashing days strolling with a crab butty, pint of Broadside and an ice-cream as stop-offs en route. Nothing whatsoever pointless about any of it so I suppose the only thing pointless is this post itself, so I won't bother!
