It's not too remote as it's near Salisbury. Haven't stayed there but have friends in the area. Can recommend a good walk with the dog up on Figsbury Ring. Some lovely villages and good pubs around there too.

Well, reading about some of the weather folks have been getting this week, we have been very lucky. We did a huge drive circuit across the Moors this afternoon, and I have never ever seen it so dry. All the streams are very low, not much running off peat uplands, and it has a parched look to it where the new heather and other plants are yet to bud up. It's not bone dry all over, but you can walk onto Moors away from paths... normally you get covered in black gloopy peat!

We saw the loveliest little black lambs all pinging around near Hutton le Hole as well, some were really tiny, not sure what they were. Not Herdwicks, as they were jet black, but had Herdwick like horns.

Got up late early this morning.  Worked hard at doing nothing with the benefit that it was all tax free apart from the tenner Mrs One purloined from my wallet.  Baby sat the twins, read them some books and they fell asleep just prior to me dropping off.  Cooked supper and now contemplating whether profiteroles would bring a bit of a moorish end to a satisfying day

Well it's taken all day for me to achieve something constructive, if you can call it constructive? I have finally managed to add photos to a story about adding photos to stories following David Klyne's and a staff post on a story without photos. I had commented on the story concerned about it not being easy to post photos. I feel I was set a challenge and I rose to it and I succeeded. But the effort involved means I may never do it again.

If you want to see photos of the inside of a supermarket in Hamilton New Zealand check out the story but you'll have to read the comments to find the photos 😉

I'm off to bed now to recover! I had had a very chilled/lazy day after routine chores knitting in the conservatory, I reckon if I'd had a proper day I wouldn't have attempted or completed the exercise. I fear I'd have said naughty words or chucked the equipment 😤

B2 sounds like a full time job to me, but I guess the achievement is quite satisfyinglaughing

I think a full time job would be easier and there's pay! I doubt very much that I'll post a photo again on here, but I felt that maybe it was just me saying it was difficult as David Klyne's doesn't seem to think so neither did a member of staff. I have satisfied myself that it is a faff and I have not been beaten and can hold me head up high.  But I don't voluntarily undertake tortuous tasks. Lesson learned 😉.

It is a faff B2, but you did it, many haven't even attempted it! I have learnt quite a bit about using my computer and phone thanks to the challenges of CT. wink

Anyway, well done, you've now got the badge and the Tshirt!laughing

The art of the impossiblewink

I suppose because I have a website which in itself is quite a steep learning curve to get things to load where you want them so after that CT is relatively easy. It is easier if you have a story you want to contribute almost everything is possible with the desire to achieve it. There are little tricks that you learn along the way. I always write stories in Word and then copy and paste when finished. I save the photos I want to use to the desktop at the required size. From there is is a fairly easy procedure to complete and post the story.
