It would be nice to keep certain done to death topics over on the other thread, and keep this more of a fun thread, but I suppose my thinking is going to be considered pointless.....smile

I was detailed to mop the bathroom floor but have succeeded in breaking the handle. Why do they make a handle that is going to sit in a damp environment out of steel? Pointless.

The upside is that I might not be allowed to do it in future. laughing

My theory, CY, is that if you want a job done well, do it badly first time then the wife will always do it in future!  wink

Northbrook Farm is closed until March and Lancing Fruit Farm are closed because the field is waterlogged

or................ maybe they couldn't afford to have you as their 'guest' anymore, of course its pointless to point this outwink

Or have been following the threads, and thought it  pointless to be out of pocket.

Foggy and cold here today, pointless doing anything outside better stay indoors and catch up on some fairy tales.

I am off to look at cookers. Mum needs one, doesn't want to buy one, but sometimes health and safety has to take priority. Wish me luck.....

You never offered a suggestion, you tried and still are trying to moderate that member and the Forum by attempting to curtail his right to post and ridicule him.

A Mod will take action if needed, something you are not.

If you say so IT must be true, pointless trying to say otherwise.

Hope you find one you both like, suppose it's hard to let go of something you are so familiar with and that has served you well, suppose she will think it's pointless.

Good luck TDA, we can't prize my Mum out of her favourite chair even though it needs replacing and she can only just get herself out of it (it's too low.) My father in law was the same, we know when we're defeated. But an unsafe cooker is much more of worry.

Found two that are suitable, decent price. It will happen tonight, I am on a roll, even got her to consider a night away instead of a present for her birthday. Strike while the goings good is my motto. Tomorrow of course it will be a different story!laughing

If it possible brue, put the chair on some ugly bricks. The height will make things easier, and eventually she will get fed up of the bricks..... surprisedlaughing

No chance, the chair will never be allowed to move an inch! Glad you've found some possibles....keep up the good work before questions get asked! winklaughing
